When selling a car online whether it be through an auction site or a specific selling website the thing that people will be looking at is the pictures that you upload.
If the pictures are poor quality or don’t show all of the car it makes people suspicious that things are being covered up and there could be something wrong with the car.
Firstly ensure the car is clean inside and out, you may want to have the car professionally valeted to ensure it’s looking its best and smells clean and fresh. This is particularly important if anyone has ever smoked in the car.
Then with either a camera or a high quality camera phone take plenty of photos from all angles these should include the front, back and sides of the car and the interior front and rear seats as well as the dashboard.
Ideally the pictures should be taken on a nice day as a car in the sunshine always looks better than one on a dull cloudy day, if this can’t be done then ensure there is plenty of light and possibly brighten the picture a little after taking, provided it doesn’t alter the colour of the car too much.
