Needle roller bearings

Needle roller bearings are usually used for compressors, pumps, transmissions, and drive shafts for rear-wheel drive vehicles. They might also be known as needle rollers due to their thin cylindrical shaped rollers. They have a larger surface area than most bearings, and this means they can handle a bigger load. Their thin shape also means they use less clearance between the axle, making them well suited to their purpose.
